Teenage Years.

As poker had already become a part of my everyday life at school in the previous years, nothing much would change in my professional life. Of course, I quickly made new acquaintances, and very soon the lunch break between 12 and 1 o’clock was reserved for poker. In addition, I also joined the local shooting club, mainly because every Sunday after training we could play poker in the clubhouse. At that time many 5 mark pieces used to change hands. Not bad when you think that at that time 5 marks definitely had a certain value.
From now on I was legally allowed to stay a bit longer in public houses. I played occasionally on the fruit machines but soon abandoned them as I grasped that it simply wasn’t possible to win in the long run.
