This is an event concept that's well-established. Take for example the 1stGPPA-World Championship in Septembre 1999 that atrracted almost 300 players. It was the biggest no money involved tournament ever in Germany, and it took place on the areal of the Stuttgart airport. It proved to be highly successful. TV crews, regional papers and national quarterlies all sent representatives to cover the event - not to speak of all the visitors who wanted to be part of it.

Sponsoring is of exxential importance for poker events. Due to growing attention of regional and national press and the ever growing number of players and visitors on Eventertainment events these have become excellent platforms for sponsors of all industrial branches. It would just as well be possible to host a big live event like a European or even a World Championship with your eponym. This could be part of a larger promotion campaign.

Poker events would also go well as parts of your comapny's internal festivities. These could be tutorials or conferences, incentives or meetings of section representatives aso asf. Wouldn't this make a nice change to your usual Christmas party or to one of these lookalike conventions? Turn your guests into active participants. Make them play for the "glory" of winning. Poker events are great fun for everyone.
